Difference Bewteen GPAT and NIPER JEE Examinations

GPAT and NIPER JEE are the two important examinations which is conducted for higher studies after B Pharmacy. GPAT is Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test and NIPER is National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Joint Entrance Exam.
Difference Between GPAT Vs NIPER JEE Examinations :
1. Examination Month :
GPAT is Conducted in Month of JANUARY Whereas NIPER JEE is conducted in Month of JUNE.
2. Exam Authority :
GPAT is conducted by AICTE and NIPER JEE is conducted by any one of the NIPER institution.
3. Registration Fees :
GPAT - 1400 Rs for OBC and General, 700 Rs for Female, Physical Handicapped, SC and ST. NIPER JEE - 2000 Rs for OBC and General, 1000 Rs for Female, Physical Handicapped, SC and ST.
4. Monthly Stipend :
GPAT and NIPER JEE Monthly stipend is same - 12400 Rs Per Month.
5. Nature of Examination :
Both the exams are conducted ONLINE.
6. Type and Number of Questions :
GPAT - 125 , NIPER JEE - 200 Objective type MCQ questions with 4 options.
7. Duration of Examination :
GPAT - 3 Hours - Student will get 86 seconds Per Question to solve NIPER JEE - 2 Hours - Students will get only 36 seconds Per Questions to solve.
8. Marks Allotment :
You will get FOUR MARKS per correct answer in GPAT, in case of NIPER JEE you will get ONE MARK per Correct Answer.
9. Negative Marking :
25 % of marks will be deducted for each wrong answer in both examinations.
10. Syllabus for Examination :
GPAT- Subject wise syllabus are available and questions are based on basic pharmacy knowledge. In case of NIPER JEE subject wise syllabus are not available. Questions are from the level of B Pharm or MSc and General aptitude.
11. Results and Validity of Score :
GPAT - AIR ( All India Ranking) with Marks are considered and its valid for 3 Years. In case of NIPER JEE only AIR ( All India Ranking) is considered and its valid for 1 Year only.
