Does eating non veg increase the risk for hypertension?

I am 45 yrs old male. I ate non veg almost everyday. but I m scared of getting high blood pressure. will it affect my blood pressure. Should I reduce the intake of non veg?

Yes it does increase the risk for hypertension . Red meat is loaded with cholesterol and saturated fat. ... Eating red meat is associated with high blood pressure and high blood cholesterol, which in turn increase the risk of heart and cardiovascular disease. You don't have to eliminate red meat entirely. Instead, you should avoid eating it every day.
