How can I lower the risk of developing high blood pressure?

I m 30 yrs old male. I have family history of hypertension. And I used to smoke 5 cigarettes per day. Most of my family members are diagnosed with hypertension . Is there any possibility for me to get hypertension ? How can I lower the risk of developing high blood pressure?

High blood pressure is inheritable. Most of the patients have high blood pressure family history. That is to say that if your parents or your grandparents have hypertension, there is high probability that you will have high blood pressure. Secondary, environment is another factor. to lower the risk of developing hypertension
Maintain a healthy weight
Get regular exercise
Reduce salt intake
Learn to manage tension or stress
Take a well-balanced diet rich in calcium, potassium, and magnesium
