As per PCI regulation how can a Bachelor of pharmacy graduates can join in Pharm D (Doctor of Pharmacy) Program.?
After B Pharmacy (from PCI approved college), graduates are eligible to join Pharm D PB ( (Post Baccalaureate) - Pharm PB is a 3 Years Doctoral program after B Pharmacy in India.
Procedure for Joining PharmD after B Pharm
1. Check your eligibility
✓ Completed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology subjects.
✓ Passed in Bachelor of Pharmacy course from an institute recognized under PCI.
2. Find the PCI Approved PharmD PB Pharmacy College
Note: All the Pharm D colleges in India will not offer the Pharm D PB Post Baccalaureate Program. So based on your location you need to identify the best pharmacy colleges.
PharmD PB program is offered by colleges in these states - Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Gujarat, Haryana, Maharashtra, Punjab, Rajasthan, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand

3. Select the Best PharmD PB College
The PharmD Pharmacy Colleges Ranked or Accredited by various national governing or professional bodies like , NBA, AICTE, NAAC, ACPE, ISO and etc.
Check the NBA ranking and other accreditation status of the selected college.
Also, ensure that the college has good tie-up with multi specialty hospital for clerkship, internship and its related bed side teaching.

4. Attend the Entrance Examination
Some of the Deemed University Pharmacy Colleges like JSS College of Pharmacy, Manipal College of Pharmacy, Vels University, and etc conducts entrance examination for students.
Note: Toppers will get some scholarships or reduction in fees as per their university policies.
