A woman's bone density is the maximum below 30. After this, density starts to drop unless kept in control by proper diet, exercise, and lifestyle changes. Between 30 to 45 is when the bone density begins to drop. While other health factors can influence the onset, the risk is reduced if care was taken in earlier years. Above 45 is when a woman is most at risk of osteoporosis. The risk of serious injury by falling is also increased. Regular checkups, balanced diets, and exercise can help women to minimize the risk.
