Speaking at the inauguration of the third edition of PharmaLytica 2016, an industry platform dedicated to analytical, outsourcing, laboratory, pharma machinery and biotechnology sectors, he said it was in order to further market these offerings to a wider audience and in-turn stimulate trade amongst this niche pharma sector, UBM India has brought the third edition of PharmaLytica.
UBM India, organisers of CPhI and P-MEC India, the leading global pharma trade show and conference had hosted the third Edition of PharmaLytica 2016 from August 5 to 6.
"PharmaLytica will not only enable the exhibitors and visitors to network and connect but will also help the pharma community to pick up the latest industry trends and inventions pertaining to these sectors with its power-packed conferences,” he added.
The two day event was inaugurated by Dr PV Appaji, director general, Pharmexcil, Partha Sarathi Reddy, chairman & managing director, Hetero Drugs, AVS Chakravarthi, CEO & managing director, Ecobliss India Pvt Ltd, Dr Rao Vadlamudi, president, Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA) and Yogesh Mudras, managing director, UBM India at the HITEX Exhibition Center.

The event had participants from over 150 exhibitors from across the country.

The second day had sessions such as ‘India’s Continued Alignment with the Global Pharmaceutical Industry’ ‘GMP Regulations for Pharma Industry’, ‘Advancements and Impacts of Analytical and Bioanalytical Techniques’, ‘Advances in Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry’, ‘Laboratory Analytical Market –Statusquo and Future’, and ‘ISA Standards in the context of the food and pharmaceutical industry’.
The event also featured an Innovation Gallery with eight participating companies showcasing their innovation and latest technology.
