Universities are following offline style, i.e. holding face-to-face contact classes with very few students, with a few exceptions and this too. Many universities lack sufficient IT resources to provide education efficiently via eLearning mode. To address the COVID-19 pandemic in educational institutions and maintain consistency in the teaching-learning cycle, MHRD and UGC have from time to time provided some recommendations and advisories and have taken practical measures to provide online education by allowing the full use of the e-resources accessible on www.ugc.ac.in.
