Human Anatomy and Physiology

Pharmaceutical Microbiology

Also provides basic knowledge on sterilization of pharmaceutical products, equipment, media, immunological preparations, diseases and its transmission, diagnosis, control and immunological tests.

Pharmacognosy & Phytopharmaceuticals

Imparts knowledge on medicinal uses of various naturally occurring drugs their history, sources, distribution, method of cultivation, active constituents, medicinal uses, identification tests, preservation methods, substitutes and adulterants.

Pharmacology-I

Helps in understanding of what drugs do to living organism and how their effects can be applied to therapeutics and thus to improve the outcome of therapeutic intervention by the doctors.

Community Pharmacy

Provides knowledge and skills that are required to provide various pharmaceutical care services to patients and general practitioners in the community setup.

Imparts knowledge and skills on drug distribution, drug dispensing, manufacturing of parenteral preparations, drug information, patient counseling, and therapeutic drug monitoring for improved patient care.

Clinical Pharmacy

Imparts basic knowledge and skills that are required for practice of pharmacy including provision of pharmaceutical care services to patients and healthcare professionals in clinical settings, and patient medication therapy management.

Biostatistics & Research Methodology

Imparts fundamental knowledge on biostatistics and research methodology and their applications in the design and conduct of clinical research.

Biopharmaceutics & Pharmacokinetics

Imparts knowledge and skills necessary for dose calculations, dose adjustments and to apply concept of biopharmaceutics in practical problem solving.

Imparts knowledge and skills to demonstrate the ability to interpret and apply pharmacokinetic principles in designing and individualizing dosage regimen in order to optimize the drug therapy.
