All forms of diabetes (1) and (2) are chronic conditions that affect the body's glucose control. Type 1 diabetes is often inherited, and it commonly develops in childhood.
Type 2 diabetes usually develops after age 35 with type 2 diabetes don't respond to insulin as well as they should and later in the disease often don't make enough insulin
