NIRF Rank Result Published for the year 2016 by released by Smt. Smriti Zubin Irani, Hon’ble Minister of Human Resource Development Govt of India on 4th April 2016. The release of NIRF Rank was published at 10am in Hall Number 6 of Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi.
NIRF Rank List 2016 will consist of separate rank for various disciplines under category A and category B. Indian Academic Forum will try to analyse the result and get a state wise and district wise report.
It is understood that approx 3000 colleges have participated in the NIRF Ranking initiative for the year 2016 as this was not made mandatory. From 2016-17 academic year on wards participation in the NIRF Ranking Framework will be made mandatory.
