Hon'ble MP from Kannur, Kerala, Shri Kumbakudi Sudhakaran from INC asked in the Lok Sabha regarding Schedule K amendment..
D&C Act 1940 itself says that Dispensing of drugs by UNREGISTERED PERSONS is a punishable offence . But the Govt. has amend in D&C Rules 1945 Schedule K sl.no. 23 in 1982(3) & included GNM, ANM, LHV, ANGANWADI. Now again trying to amend by adding/ including ASHAs, MLHP/ CHO in the SL.no 23.
