Tamil Nadu's government has strengthened surveillance and control measures against the disease in accordance with the national guidelines.
13112 passengers are screened at Chennai, Trichy, Madurai, and Coimbatore airports in Tamil Nadu to date.
In total 7 passengers are in isolation wards (2 passengers in Trichy Medical College Hospital, 2 Passengers in Tiruvarur Medical College Hospital, 1 in Kilpauk Medical College Hospital, 1 in Kanniyakumari Medical College Hospital and 1 in Villupuram Medical College Hospital)
In the background of the present Novel Coronavirus outbreak, the general public are advised to adhere to health advisories issued by the state Government.
