Hypertension guidelines from the Eighth Joint National Committee (JNC8) are finally here. While we were waiting for JNC 8, the American Society of Hypertension (ASH) in collaboration with the International Society of Hypertension released their own expert opinion piece aimed at prescribers’ “real-life” practice settings.
