Those with type 1 diabetes typically live shorter lives, with a drop in life expectancy of more than 20 years.

The life expectancy of someone with type 2 diabetes is likely to be reduced, as a result of the condition, by up to 10 years.

Additionally the (QOL ) Quality of Life will be reduced due to the diabetes complications

So, as conclusion type 1 is more dangerous than Type 2 ? The life-expectancy will be highly reduced due to type 1 diabetes more if untreated.
