Poison Information at JSS Hospital, Mysore with the objective to improve the health of the public by minimizing or preventing the illness and death due to poisoning. The Poison information services will be provided free of cost to healthcare professionals and the public.
Poison Information Centre at JSS Hospital has come up with an android mobile application in order to create awareness among the general public and heathcare practitioners. This can give direct access to treatment management for common poisonings. moreover for the general public there is access to the basic information on first aid in accidental poisoning, first aid in snake bite and prevention of poisoning in elderly and children. Also one can download various poison information leaflets.
