Currently, there are no licensed blood cancer vaccines. Vaccines for leukemia (blood cancer), lymphoma (lymphatic cancer) and myeloma (cancer of the plasma cells) are still in development and available only in clinical trials. However, once the vaccine has been formed, not only will it boost the body's immune system to fight leukemia, but it also helps get rid of the underlying cause of the leukemia. Currently, this can only be done with a bone marrow transplant.
