Nuetropenic fever can also be an emergency in case of lung cancer. In situations like these, you should call your doctor right away, even if the pain may be less intense at first.

Infection,Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), which is a potentially life-threatening blood clot,Pulmonary embolism (PE), which is a blood clot in the lung and a medical emergency.
