Dear friends, I have few questions regarding PharmD Internship Outside Hospital Rotations.

1.How many months of outside hospital rotations are allowed ? Is there any guidance from PCI?

2.Which is the best hospital for doing PharmD Internship - Outside Ward /Hospital Rotations?

3.How to select specializations/ward ?

Answer to your first question,

As per PCI Instruction Two Months of outside hospital rotation is allowed during PharmD Internship. ( With In India & Abroad)

Specialty Wards like Oncology, Nephrology only will come under two months of rotation category and general medicine is not advisable for outside rotation.

Answer to your second question,

Try for any tertiary care hospital where the patient flow is more.

Answer to your third question,

If you dont have specialties in your practicing hospital or inadequate patient strength, You can try for the following specialty wards,

1. Surgical Oncology
2.Nephrology
3.Neurology
4.Psychiatry
5.Gynaecology
6.Pediatrics
